If there were no Good Friday!

(Flipping over the pages of my old diary, I found a garland of few words which I penned during one of my spiritual exercises. Years gone by, but thoughts still remain the same!)

Where would have been the Risen Christ?
Where would have been the Christianity?
Where would have been my existence?
If there were no Good Friday!

Good Friday was the beginning of a new beginning
Good Friday was the creating of a new history
Good Friday was making a Risen Christ
But then, if there were no Good Friday!

Good Friday is a call to rise with Him
Good Friday is a call to embrace Him
Good Friday is a call to touch Him
Good Friday is a call to fall in love with Him
But then, if there were no Good Friday!

Good Friday comes to our lives, so that we can experience the Easter Sunday!

Thoughts for the day!

মনের শান্তি মানুষ শান্তি প্রিয়। সবাই শান্তিতে থাকতে চায়। অশান্তিময় পরিবেশ কেউ পছন্দ করে না। আর মনের শান্তিতো আমাদের সবারই চাওয়া। আমরা মনের শান্তি কিভাবে আনতে পারি? নরম্যান ভিনসেন্ট পিয়ালে তাঁর পাওয়ার অব পজিটিভ থিংকিঙয়ে কয়েকটি উপায় উল্লেখ্য করেছেন। যেগুলো প্রতিদিন সাধনা করলে মনের শান্তি অনুভব করা যায়। সেগুলো হলো. ১. মনটাকে হাল্কা করা। কিছুক্ষণের জন্য সমস্ত কিছু ভুলে যাওয়া। ২. ধীর, স্থির, শান্ত মনোভাব গড়ে তোলা। ৩. প্রতিদিন নিরবতা অভ্যাস করা। কিছুক্ষণের জন্য নিজের সাথে সময় কাটানো। ৪. মনটাকে সহজ সরল করা। সবকিছু সহজ সরলভাবে গ্রহণ করা।
