She smiles and goes

Poem: She smiles and goes

Leaning back, peeping through window
Field crammed with crops, river by the side

Local train goes on, carrying humanity
Mass of all section- elite to poor
Suddenly appeared a girl, aged to school
Throwing pen, holding a broom
Gloomy, innocent face she looks around
Sweeping, cleaning coaches in torn wear
Collecting, eating half eaten food
Then stretches out hand with a hope
Just for a rupee, only a rupee
Get lost; she hears often from the millionaire
One rupee handed over to her
Smiling at me and she goes away
One coach to another, days after days
Growing in an uncertain future
Thousands of them racing the same line
Is there any scheme for them?
